1. Who we are
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the digital publications offered by Creston Labs, Sociedad Limitada ("Creston Labs", "we", "us"), a limited liability company incorporated in Spain, with Tax ID (NIF) B93760064 and registered address at Calle Francisco Robles 19, 1º G, 30130 Beniel (Murcia), Spain.
By purchasing or accessing any of our e-books or subscribing to any of our newsletters (together, the "Content"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use the Content.
2. What we sell
We sell exclusively digital products:
- E-books: one-time purchases of digital publications, delivered electronically as a download or by email after payment is confirmed.
- Newsletters: recurring email subscriptions, billed on the schedule stated at checkout (for example monthly or annually) until cancelled.
No physical goods are shipped. Prices, billing frequency and any applicable taxes are always displayed before you confirm a purchase.
3. Payments and merchant of record
Payments for our Content are processed by an independent merchant of record — currently Lemon Squeezy — which acts as the seller of record for the transaction. This means the merchant of record:
- handles the checkout, collects payment and issues your receipt;
- calculates, collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT;
- appears as the merchant on your card or bank statement.
Your purchase is also subject to the merchant of record's own terms of sale, which are presented at checkout. Creston Labs remains responsible for the Content itself and for customer support, and our Refund Policy applies to every purchase.
4. Your licence to the Content
When you purchase Content, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, store and read the Content for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- resell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise redistribute the Content;
- share your download links, subscriber access or copies of the Content with others;
- publish, upload or make the Content publicly available, in whole or in substantial part;
- modify the Content or create derivative works from it, other than personal notes and excerpts for private use;
- use the Content to train, fine-tune or otherwise develop machine-learning models.
Purchasing Content transfers no ownership of it. Brief quotations with attribution, and any other uses permitted by applicable law (such as statutory private-copying or quotation rights), remain unaffected.
5. Intellectual property
All Content, together with this website, the "Creston Labs" name and our logos, is the property of Creston Labs, Sociedad Limitada or its licensors and is protected by Spanish, European Union and international copyright and intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
6. Newsletter subscriptions
Newsletter subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout until you cancel. You may cancel at any time, with effect at the end of the current billing period; you will keep access to issues you have already been sent. Cancellation is available through the subscription-management link included in our emails and in your receipt, or by writing to [email protected]. 7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our website or Content in any way that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of others, or that could damage, disable or impair our services. We may suspend or revoke access to Content where these Terms are materially breached — for example, where purchased Content is redistributed publicly.
8. Disclaimers
Our publications are general-interest, practical content provided for informational purposes. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including medical, legal, financial or tax advice — and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
We take care to keep our Content accurate at the time of publication, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or that it will meet your specific requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Content is provided "as is".
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Creston Labs arising out of or in connection with any purchase of Content shall not exceed the amount you paid for that Content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our products or in the law. The current version, with its "Last updated" date, will always be published on this page. Changes apply to purchases made after they are published; material changes affecting active subscriptions will be notified by email in advance.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
